concord chaturangui deluxe

This is a Concord creation reproducing one of the models designed and played by Debashish Battacharya.

Fully decorated, this is one of the most elaborated models that can be found amongst Bhabasindhu Biswas instruments.

The main body of the instrument is made out of tunwood and the top out of pine. The tailpieces for both main and taraf strings are made with ebony and its pegs are inspired in traditional ones, like  those we would find in sitars and sarods.

This is a strong and solid built instrument, with excellent resonance, nice sympathetic response and faithful to Debashish Battacharya style with 22 strings.
