NItai Chandra 2005 Vilayatkhani gp

We are pleased to offer this sitar built by Nitai Chandra in 2005.

This instrument is characterized by its very solid construction, in the style of the sitars that came out of Nitai's workshop during that period.

Over the past 20 years, it has been barely played and shows only very light signs of age. 

The main bridge is made of horn, and the jawari has been recently adjusted by us in the Vilayat Khan style,

It is an instrument with a very sweet/organic sound and a good taraf response, a true gem for those lovers of the Imdadkhani gharana.
